Sanatan Dharma Pratinidhi Sabha Punjab (Registered), was established by Bharat Ratna Mahamana Pt. Madan Mohan Malviya ji in 1923 in the City of Lahore of undivided Punjab, to unite all the organisations and individuals having faith in Sanatan Dharma.

Tyagamurti Goswami Ganesh Dutt Ji Maharaj and Vyakhyan Vachaspati Deen Dayalu Ji Upadhyay promoted this huge organisation with their tireless efforts. After the partition of the country property worth crores of rupees of Sanatan Dharma Pratinidhi Sabha was left in Pakistan. In independent India, under the leadership of Tyagamurti Goswami Ganesh Datta ji, the Pratinidhi Sabha started work afresh.

The working area of the Sabha is seven Northern States and two Union Territories namely Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Delhi, Chandigarh.
The Sabha was established with the vision of making every human being’s mind full of Dharma and heart full of greatness through propagating the values of Shri Sanatan Dharam of Bharat/India/Hindustan.

The mission of the Sabha is to spread the Indian Hindu culture and philosophy of Karma, Upasana and Gyan (Religious rituals, worship and knowledge) through establishing Sh. Sanatan Dharma Sabhas, temples, educational institutions, Mahabir Dals in different states/cities and imparting education, training of religious karma Kanda and celebrating religious and cultural festivals. To spread the message of Sh. Sanatan Dharma for the mankind through the sayings of Vedas, Upanishads, Puranas.

We are committed to opening of Sanatan Dharma Schools & Colleges, nature care centre, ayurvedic wellness centres, dispensaries, pilgrimage sites, construction of temples and dharmshalas, restoration of ancient temples as well as many service projects in the religious, cultural, educational and social sectors like organizing educational and religious conferences, organising medical camps, carrier guidance and counselling cells for students and orientation and faculty development courses for faculty.
Propagation of Vedic culture and Sanatan values at the Kumbh and Ardh Kumbh fairs, being held at Haridwar, Prayagraj, Ujjain etc. Solar eclipse fairs in Kurukshetra and other religious festivals and to help the local administration in fair management through thousands of volunteers of the Mahavir Dal is one of the major activities of the Sabha.

Saptrishi Ashram
This is one of the oldest Ashram situated on the bank of the holy river Maa Ganga named after Saptrishis namely Rishi Bharadwaj, Rishi Jamadagni, Rishi Vishwamitra, Rishi Gautam, Rishi Atri, Rishi Kashyap and Rishi Vashishth. As legend goes Maharishi Bhagirath when brought Maa Ganga to the earth the Ganga splitted in seven dharas to flow in front of Kutia of each of these Rishis, hence the name of this place - Sapt Sarovar.
The Saptrishi Ashram is spread over an area of 35 acres of land enriched with natural environment having large number of lush green trees of mangoes, guava, peepal, amla and rudraksh and herbal plants. The Ashram has 45 Kutias ,28 are Air onditioned, rest are Non A.C.
It has eight temples of Shri Gangeshwar Mahadev ji, Shri Ganesha, Maa Durga, Shri Hanuman ji, Shri Radha Krishna ji, Shri Ram Parivar, Maa Saraswati, Shri Bala ji. The whole ambience is very relaxing, soothing and pious.
Bhagwan Shiva ji is the main residing deity of the Ashram. Daily Rudri (Lingam Pooja) is performed in the early hours in the morning.
Ashram also houses the temple of Bharat Rattan Mahaman Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya ji the founder of the organisation i.e. Sanatan Dharma Pratinidhi Sabha Punjab (Regd.) and Kirti Stambh and Statue of Goswami Ganesh Dutt ji founder of the Ashram.
Dr. Rajendra Prasad the first president of India lighted the sacred fire in the Yagya shala in 1954 which is set to go on continuously
for 101 Years.
